Example: study thought. Choosing your daily attitude

study an example of daily life and see how you could change your day on the continuum of contentedness.

Fill in the blanks by choosing a thought from the list with a corresponding letter and then think of what you believe these examples may be showing you.

I am awake and it is time to start another (A) _________day, so I will (B) _______out of bed (C) ________and I will (D) _________as I start to realize that this day will be (E) _________

(A) Great, fantastic, god awful, drunk, trashy, cranky, best day ever.

(B) Hop, dance my way, get, crawl, drag my butt, try to get.

(C) Slowly, singing, praying, complaining, because I have to.

(D) Be thankful for a beautiful day, get ready for a full day, holler at everyone to leave me alone, wish I was dead, go through the motions.

(E) Great, good, a disaster, another bad day, a drunken day, what I decide to make it, the best day of my life.

Hopefully you see the point here, as the minute you start your day you start your self-fulfilling life walk and you get to fill in the blanks on how you are going to feel, from the minute you wake up and all through the day; every minute of every day, which means that it is time to start taking yourself talk, thoughts and affirmations, very seriously.

You should also study and repeat many positive daily affirmations, which could include any or all of the following.

Be sure to continue to talk “I” power statements for your positive change.

Daily “I Power” thoughts

Today is the best day of my life and I am becoming better each moment by my decision: to think, act and feel differently.

I will make better decisions today than I made yesterday starting with my next decision and continuing on, one good decision at a time.

I will change my negative thoughts into positive thoughts and actions.

I will make my new attitudes, thoughts and self talk, work for me.

I will avoid negatively charged reactionary thinking.

I will not listen to invalidated hearsay, from or against another.

I will continue eliminating negative thinking from my life.

I will be sure to tell myself good things about myself often and give myself credit for the good decisions that I am now making.

I will make a commitment to start changing negative behaviors by replacing them with positive thoughts.

Today I hold the power over my attitude and I will carry an attitude of forgiveness towards others as well as myself.

I will not give my power of decision away by blaming my feelings on what other people do.

I will love myself today, if I feel like it or not, as I live beyond my feelings.

I will not fear change, I will change and change and keep changing, because I have the right to change as often as I want and I will purchase and distribute Comeback Power Recovery wisdom through my daily life and attitude.
